29 Weeks

So today is actually the 30 week mark, but I've been a bit behind, like I previously mentioned and just barely took the 29 week picture on Sunday. We completely missed the 28 week picture, which is a bummer, but here's 29 weeks and I'll be sure to take the 30 week pic today.

Even as I'm writing this, Little Man is pushing and shoving inside my belly like he's trying to escape! It's really weird to watch my belly bulge in random places and to feel Little Man's parts when I push on my belly. Weird, but also really cool. I had to try and clarify for Jeff last night when we were talking about it and I kept saying how weird it was. I had to clarify that it's not freaky or scary, just weird. Really cool, of course, but weird. It's strange to have a tiny little person rumbling around in my belly and to be sharing my body with another human being. Weird, but super cool! I think it's going to be even weirder when Henry baby is actually "on the outside" and living with us in our house. I am looking forward to it, though. I'm getting more and more anxious to see what he's going to look like, but I'm hesitant to count down the weeks because everyone I know who has had babies recently has been about 2 weeks late! So I don't want to count down 10 more weeks if there are really 11 or 12 left, you know? It would be really convenient to know when he was coming. Oh well.

Also, getting up and preparing food for myself has become more and more of an inconvenience and even a chore. Luckily, Jeff has been taking really good care of me and is whipping up some fried rice for me right now. I'm trying to make sure that I'm getting enough to eat, but it's hard. Especially when Little Man is siphoning away my food even as I'm eating it. I keep telling people that it's like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it. I'm really looking forward to having Little Man out here and having my body back!

Well, I'm off to the O.B. in an hour or so, so I'm gonna get dressed and ready for the day. Thanks for reading!
