First of all, I love my new haircut! I plan to post pictures tomorrow, so ya'll can see what I've done. I went shorter than I thought I would, but I'm really glad I did! Not only is it going to be better for warmer weather, but it's be nice to not pull my hair whenever I roll over in bed, and it'll give Henry fewer opportunities to grab hold of my hair and pull to his little heart's content. But, like I said, more on that tomorrow.
For now, remember how I've been a bit obsessed with Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know"? I posted the original video a while back, a few weeks after I heard it for the first time and loved it. Then I posted a fantastic cover by Pentatonix, but today I became aware that I'm not the only one who is obsessed with this song and its many covers.
Last night on The Voice, Lindsay Pavao did an odd (and downright creepy, to be honest) cover of the song. Jeff also showed me a slideshow of all of these other covers, including one by Glee (gag!). This song is blowing up! It seems nearly everyone is obsessed with it! I also have more that I'd like to say about The Voice, but that's a separate post for sure.
If any of you check out all of the different covers, you should let me know which is your favorite! I'm curious what ya'll think. Or if you hate the song and can't wait for the craze to be over-I'm curious to know about that, too!
